Reyna Lee (본명:이효선)

레이나 리는 예술을 통해 삶의 기쁨과 희망을 탐구하는 한국의 작가이자 교육자, 문화기획자이다. 이화여자대학교 서양화과를 졸업하고 건국대학교 교육대학원에서 석사학위를 취득하였으며, 예술교육과 미래교육의 접점을 깊이 있게 연구해 왔다. 작가는 혼합매체를 활용하여 인간의 감정과 기억, 내면의 움직임을 시각적으로 표현한다. 대표 연작인 「JOY」, 「Thoughts」, 「Cherry Blossom」, 「TIKI-TAKA」는 삶 속에서 발견되는 기쁨의 순간과 존재에 대한 성찰을 담고 있다.

또한 국제 미술 교류와 예술교육 활성화를 위해 다양한 전시와 프로젝트를 기획·운영하고 있으며, 아주글로벌미술대전과 아주글로벌아트페어를 통해 국내외 작가들이 교류할 수 있는 예술 플랫폼을 구축하고 있다. 그녀는 예술이 사람과 사람, 지역과 세계를 연결하는 가장 아름다운 언어라고 믿는다.

Reyna Lee is a South Korean artist, educator, and cultural curator whose work explores joy, memory, and the inner landscape of the human experience. She received her B.F.A. in Painting from Ewha Womans University and earned her Master’s degree from the Graduate School of Education at Konkuk University, extensively researching the intersection of arts education and future-oriented learning.

Working primarily with mixed media, Lee visualizes emotional rhythms, personal reflections, and the subtle beauty found in everyday life. Her major series—including JOY, Thoughts, Cherry Blossom, and TIKI-TAKA—investigate the relationship between inner contemplation and the universal pursuit of happiness.

Alongside her artistic practice, she actively curates international art projects and educational initiatives. Through her leadership in the Aju Global Art Fair and the Aju International Art Competition, she has built a dynamic platform that fosters cultural exchange and collaboration among artists across borders. Lee ultimately believes that art is a universal language capable of connecting people, communities, and generations.
